Few things cure wintertime blues better than traveling down south; particularly when those travels take you to saltwater. Cam and I got chased out of Jackson Hole by the polar vortex and it seems it’s been snowing non-stop up there since we left. This year’s southern swing first took us to the Classic City of Athens, Ga, for an exceptional weekend of food and football. The nightlife downtown was up to its usual standards and it was electric between the hedges; the good guys won big.

Shortly thereafter, Cam, Fiske, and I moseyed down to Charleston, SC for three days chasing redfish with Capt. Shane Sinclair of Charleston Inshore Charters. Chucktown is always a good time; even better when the conditions are right for fishing. To say the least, we got into ’em. Photos below…
